Anjel looked out over the expanse of land that had been left to her in her Great Aunt Angelia's Last Will and Testament. She could not figure out for the life of her what in the world had possessed the old girl to leave this place (one of many properties apparently) to a great niece she had never even met. Though, there were people in Anjel's family who claimed she looked JUST LIKE Great Aunt Angelia. They used to tell her: "Anjel! You look JUST LIKE Great Aunt Angelia!" It was kind of annoying actually.
Well, whatever. Whatever made the old girl leave her this huge property, she was grateful. Why wouldn't she be? She'd also left her a big chunk of Simoleons with which to furnish the place with, but Anjel felt pretty funny about using it. But whatever. She was here now and she was going to do what she'd always dreamed about doing. She was going to own as many pets as she possibly could - and as varied in species as she could. That was an impossible task for her living in a city and in a one-bedroom apartment.
And that meant a trip into town to see what kind of select there was. Wasn't she surprised to find out that they didn't actually sell the larger animal varieties there. Here, they only sold birds, reptiles and small rodent-like creatures. The proprietor of the store informed her that she would need to check the papers for adoption opportunities for dogs and cats, befriend any strays that may wander by, visit the local Equestrian Center for a horse, or try to catch sight of some wild horses running around town. So ... she was basically on her own.
While walking around in town, Anjel stumbled upon this beauty. This horse was very friendly, but sadly, not a wild horse ... judging from the saddle.
The animal certainly wasn't averse to a nice brushing though ... so Anjel obliged. What a gorgeous animal though! She hoped that she would be lucky enough to own such a creature soon.
Horse brushed, Anjel continued to wander around the main part of town. As her stomach gurgled a little, she came across an ice cream truck. Wow ... she hadn't seen one of those since she was a child!
She really shouldn't. She was an adult after all. What adult in their right mind buys a snack from an ice cream truck?
This one, of course! What were a few hundred calories of empty sugar? She was in pretty good shape. Besides, walking around town would most certainly work off the excess. Indulgence! What bliss!
Though ... later that night when she was home, she couldn't help but wonder if it was perhaps not the most wise thing to do. The ice cream truck stayed parked outside of her house until the wee early hours of the morning. For being such a small town, Anjel certainly hoped she would not have to worry about stalkers. She had to worry about that in her last place of residence. There was no place for a stalker in her animal menagerie.

I'd totally buy a snack from an icecream truck...in fact, I made my father-in-law stop his van and let me out so I could get one. This was just this past summer :D
